Legal Name: The YMCA Community Center of Neenah Menasha.
Time Line
- 1844: The first YMCA was founded by George Williams in London, England
- 1911: Begins the Young Women's Club (YWC) in Neenah/Menasha.
- 1913-1914: First home of the YWC on 201 West Wisconsin, Neenah (upstairs)
- 1915-1929: YWC rents to 204 East Doty Avenue, Neenah from Robert Shiells.
- 1929-1934: YWC turns into the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA).
- 1935: YWCA moves again to 138 North Commercial Street, Neenah, owned by Samuel A. Cook.
- 1965: Three houses were torn down, along with 138 North Commercial Street to construct the current building.
- 1967: Name changed to the Neenah-Menasha Y to include all genders, not just females.
- 1973: YWCA and YMCA merged while the YMCA had President James Pete Keating from the Neenah Foundry
- Early 1980's: Constructed a meter pool at the Neenah-Menasha YMCA.
- 1996: Neenah-Menasha YMCA has 5,000 members.
- 2000: The YMCA decided to add another gym for leisure and recreation time, while also adding in an arts and humanities center.
- 2016: the Neenah-Menasha YMCA has over 10,000 members(doubled in 20 years).

Interesting facts
Bart Starr was the keynote speaker for the Neenah-Menasha YMCA dedication on September 10, 1967. He was the representative of Gov. Warren Knowles and President's Council on Physical Fitness. Mr. Starr stated, "This building will be a famous landmark for years to come, but what you do with it will be the real mark of how successful this operation will be."
